Pepper Soup

A spicy, comforting Nigerian soup that's packed with flavors, perfect for a cozy meal or remedy for cold days.

Procedure

  1. In a pot, add the meat, onions, garlic, and seasoning cubes. Pour in water and bring to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, add the pepper soup spice mix, crayfish, and scotch bonnet peppers. Let simmer for 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
  3. Adjust seasoning with salt and more seasoning cubes if necessary.
  4. Add chopped scent leaves or basil and let simmer for 5 more minutes.
  5. Serve hot with yam, plantain, or rice.
