  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased loaf pan.
  6. Cover and let it rise again for about 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack before slicing.

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs and add milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Heat butter or oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Pour in the egg mixture, tilting the skillet to spread it evenly.
  4. As the edges start to set, gently push them toward the center while tilting the skillet to let the uncooked eggs flow to the edges.
  5. When the eggs are almost set, sprinkle cheese and any desired vegetables on one half of the omelette.
  6. Fold the omelette in half and cook for an additional minute until the cheese melts.
  7. Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot.
